 What is the Genesis Club?

The Genesis Club is a way to recognize the early adopters that believed in the mission and vision of talentdao and invested in the idea that human coordination can be better, work should be decentralized, and knowledge is best when open-sourced.

Talentdao is currently bootstrapping a small seed round in order to raise funds for smart contract developers, software engineers, tokenomics and DAO tooling infrastructure. The treasury will also allocate funds for community development and participation incentives. This seedround will be available only to core contributors and the talentdao community. Below are the details of the three giving tiers available. A snapshot of all transactions will be taken when the funding round concludes.

Decision Rights and Voting Power

TalentDAO is building a community reviewed publication protocol for the social sciences called the Journal of Decentralized Work (JODW). The JODW is reviewed and published based on community vote and review by a panel of delegates. TaletDAO relies on a native governance token for community voting where token holders are granted decision rights over the DAO and influence which papers are selected for publication. 

Every Genesis Club member is entitled to hold a position with voting rights. Each membership tier progressively grants more decision making power over the DAO.
